I imagine three reasons (but could be more).
1. It’s not about the cheating *by itself*. What do I mean? Simple, not that they think they are on any of both sides (cuck or villain) of the story, just that they *love* the idea of a woman so horny that would fall into that just for pleasure or lust. So, in this hypothesis, the reason is because women are extremely lewd in those works.
2. It’s by the art. There is the meme that the art is too good, that I think it might be real.
3. Projection. They are projecting on the cuck or on the ugly bastard or the guy of the haircut, or whoever is the character they have a fetish about.
It could include the idea of the cheating (which is an already established fetish), or a specific addon of the manga’s story (I don’t know what combinations do authors make usually with NTR).
